What's the most important thing you've learned about the PR business?
Make like a boy scout. Be prepared for anything and everything. Stay true. Don't veer from the mission, the message or the ethical course of action.
What's the greatest source of satisfaction in your job?
Nailing it for the client. Whether it’s doing the right advance work so you come in with exactly the right proposal that makes the client sing, or innovating the perfect strategy or execution for a program. The ultimate high, though, is the new business win–when a client says yes, you are our agency. We believe in you.

What advice would you give someone about going into this business?
Do it for love, not money. It's all about the relationships–with your clients, with your colleagues, with the press. You've got to totally embrace the human side of doing business.
